# Competitors

Daily checks of competitor sites; new product pages, posts and landing pages become topic ideas, and AI writes overviews and spec comparisons.

Who to watch

Competitors you confirmed during setup come in automatically; "Add competitor" takes any website. Each sitemap is read once a day: the first read records existing pages, and only pages after that count as new discoveries. Sites without a sitemap can't be read; the reason shows on the page.

New discoveries

Filter by product pages, posts and landing pages; unseen ones carry a "New" mark. "To topic" turns one into a topic in Content (our own take, no copying); "Mark all as seen" clears the marks.

AI analysis

- **AI overview**: compares page, product and post counts, what each is pushing lately, what we're missing and what to write next;
- **AI spec comparison** (next to each competitor): pulls their product line, compares the closest models with ours line by line, and suggests head-to-head topics.

Finished analyses are kept under "Competitor analyses" at the bottom. Competitor specs stay theirs; they never become your product facts.
