# Connect creght: cloud and phone

Connect creght to keep data in the cloud and use this computer's Annulo from a browser on your phone or another computer.

Annulo works fully without creght. Connecting adds:

- projects and data in the cloud, on any computer;
- your existing creght projects;
- creght templates, like the Export assistant;
- platform models, no API key of your own;
- this computer's Annulo from a browser on your phone or another computer (remote access, subscribed separately).

To connect: "Connect creght" at the bottom of the "Choose a project" page, or Settings → Connections, then sign in and approve in your browser. creght.cn and creght.com have separate accounts and projects; switch in Settings → creght region.

Online and offline projects

- **Offline projects**: pages, data and uploaded files stay on this computer;
- **Online projects**: data lives in your creght account.

An offline project can be converted in Settings → Projects → "Convert to online": it creates a new project in your creght account and moves the pages, all data and uploaded files; chat history stays on this computer. **It can't be converted back.**

On your phone or another computer

In Settings → Remote access, turn on "Open this computer's Annulo on your phone". From then on, a browser on your phone or another computer runs the Annulo on this computer: the back office, the assistant, local functions and project folders work just like here, for online and offline projects alike.

- **Subscription**: remote access needs a creght subscription, per account rather than per project. Settings shows when it expires, this month's traffic and the device count; when it isn't active, has expired or is out of traffic, there's a "Subscribe" button next to it;
- **Addresses**: "Open in a browser" lists every project's address and QR code. Addresses never change, so you can bookmark them. Scan the code or open the address in a browser and sign in with the same creght account;
- **Approving devices**: the first time a new device opens Annulo it waits on "Waiting for approval" until you click "Allow" in the prompt in the computer's top bar. The top bar also shows which devices are connected, and you can "Revoke" one at any time, or manage them in Settings → Remote access;
- **On a phone**: the back office and the assistant are two pages; switch between them with "Back office / Assistant" at the bottom. Choose "Add to desktop" in the Annulo menu at the top left to open it from an icon from then on, full screen with no address bar;
- **Keep it running**: this computer and Annulo need to be on; it can't be opened while the computer is off.

A device that can get in remotely can use the assistant, which means it can run commands on this computer, so deny any device that isn't yours. Remote access can't reach other programs' ports on this computer, and turning remote access on or off and approving devices can only be done on the computer itself.
